💡 Important Notes:

  • VAT refund: foreign passport holders get back 85% of the VAT when they fly out (the refunding bank keeps 15%). VAT is 8% until 31 Dec 2026, then 10%, so the refund is about 6.3% of the price. The Est. Price column already takes it off.
  • To qualify: spend at least â‚«2,000,000 at one shop in one day, at a branch registered for VAT refunds (ask before you pay), get an electronic VAT invoice ("hóa đơn Ä‘iện tá» GTGT"), and leave Vietnam within 60 days of the invoice.
  • At the airport: keep the product unopened in your carry-on. Show it with the invoice to customs before check-in, at least 30 minutes before departure (arrive early). The refund is paid in VND at the refund counter after security, at international airports such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
  • Bargaining: prices shown are from online stores. Physical stores often allow 2-5% off, or 5-10% with skilled bargaining; the slider above applies it to the estimated price and refund.
  • Price accuracy: prices are indicative and change often. Always confirm the price, and that the item is in stock rather than pre-order, at the store before buying.

VAT refund rules: Decree 181/2025/ND-CP and Circular 84/2026/TT-BTC; 8% VAT rate: Decree 174/2025/ND-CP.
